Despair

The small girl’s tall dad
Was taking her home.
She wanted to stay.
She sobbed angrily.
Why can’t we stay more?

We payed for an hour.
Why can’t we stay more?
That’s what we paid for.
But I’m still thirsty!
You want some water?

I want a slushee!
Then you’re not thirsty.
But I am thirsty
For a slushee! Why
Can’t we go back in?

Because it’s over,
And if you’re thirsty,
You can have water.
I don’t want water!
Well, we have to go.

I don’t want to go!
You’re making me do
Things I don’t even
Want to do! Please! Please!
And then they were gone.
