Commonplace Poem

Clouds and thunder last all day;
I have nothing to convey.
We are born to arrive
As we are born to leave,
Crowded with poignant
Little messages,
The soul remaining
Evidence of life
We have borne to leave
As it was born to arrive.
I have nothing more to teach.
Clouds and thunder shroud the beach.
