We were nostalgic for foolishness,
Because it meant wisdom might matter.
Fairy is kenning for word. The day
Began in quotation and ended
In dementia. Continuity
And change have to be one and the same
Because each depends on the other
To exist, to have any meaning,
And yet we have no meaningful word
For the both of them that combines them.
