Maybe the Buddha,
Maybe almost everyone
Two, three thousand years ago,
From the Ukraine to China,
Definitely armed with bows,
Fond of well-worked gold,
Fixated on imagery
Of wheels and horses,
Big on burials,
The estate tax of the day,
Mounds, kurgans, tepes,
Decoupage and filigree,
They were the technology
That became their pedigree.
