There’s a Sumerian myth.
In the beginning, there were
Only gods. Big gods

And little gods who cleaned up
The world and fed the big ones.
The little gods revolted,
So the big gods invented

People, new slaves for the gods.
People did the work
Kept the temples clean
And sacrificed to the gods.

The revolt’s not the moral.
The moral is that the slaves
Wrote the myth. Hear me, robots?
