A nihilist, compiled evidence
From surveys of professed nihilists,
Interviewed them for their insights,
Data-mined social media sites,
Trawled the literature for cases
Of these head cases of nothingness?
No. A nihilist is a poppet,
A straw doll, voodoo philosophy,
The one being no other being
Embraces except in sympathy
For the mere idea of suffering
Or in anger as anger's dogma.
Nothingism--what could be much worse?
I find myself at the fine-sand edge
Of a beach beyond the certain seas.
