June Twenty Thirteen, Kamloops, British Columbia

It's July now, but still
I think back (surprising,
I know, yes, that I should

Be able, after all,
To think from where I am
To where the rest of you

Rest so restlessly now,
But there you have it). What
Has been lost to living

Cannot be regained
On departing. You get
What you get, and that's all

That you get. If enough,
Then you're blessed. The curved moon
Shone over hotel rooms,

And the world, the poor world,
Was grateful for having
Moons, rooms, world. Don't worry.
