There aren't any mysteries
Only ordinary facts
Obscured by our confusion--
Puzzle answers, misplaced keys,
Exciting when discovered
But not once common knowledge.
Questions thrill us; answers bore.
The sole approximation
To bottomless mystery
Lies near the core of boredom,
Under forever known things
We'll never lose or forget--
That we tire, things move, days end,
And that words, bizarrely, mean.
